Macif Innovation invests in Contrat Facile (which operates under the Testamento brand), a SaaS software publisher scale-up that reinvents the distribution of personal insurance products.

Macif, through its investment vehicle Macif Innovation, is investing in Contrat Facile (which operates under the brand name Testamento), a scale-up company specializing in the development and deployment of innovative tools to assist in the distribution of personal insurance products. Testamento offers portfolio management, sales support, beneficiary clause management, and loyalty building services with estate planning services. By acquiring a stake in Testamento, Macif intends to continue to offer simplified, secure solutions that are adapted to the needs of its members and subscribers.

Macif and Contrat Facile (Testamento brand): a long-term collaboration

Macif has been using the services and tools offered by Testamento since 2019 for its various businesses. Indeed, Macif uses the “Testamento Beneficiary” service. This digital and 100% secure solution allows employees to generate suitable beneficiary clauses when subscribing and savers to modify their beneficiary clauses themselves. In addition, “Testamento Planner” offers services such as help in drawing up a will, inventorying their assets or assisting them in expressing their last wishes to holders of a life insurance savings contract, Jeewan Patrimoine.

“We are delighted with this minority investment of Macif Innovation in our capital, a historical partner of Testamento who has been accompanying us and trusting us since we entered the French Assurtech acceleration program in 2018. This is an additional mark of confidence that will also allow us to accelerate the deployment of our offers in the group and strengthens our technical and commercial resources,” said Virgile Delporte, Testamento’s co-founder and president.

“As a distributor of life insurance savings contracts, our role is to provide our members with the best possible support for their long-term projects. Thanks to Testamento, since 2018 our savers have benefited from useful and innovative services tailored to their needs. Today, we are pleased to support Testamento in this new stage of their development. Our commitment is part of a shared desire to provide our members with useful and essential solutions for the proper management of their life insurance savings contracts,” adds Odile Ezerzer, Director of Macif Finance Epargne and a member of Testamento’s Board of Directors.
